PUMPKIN PIE - 24th of November

For breakfast, we had scrambled eggs and beans.

Au petit déjeuner, il y avait des œufs brouillés et des fèves.

On this Saturday morning, we cooked the famous pie for Thanksgiving.

Ce samedi matin, nous avons fait la célèbre tarte à la citrouille.

We began by cutting the enormous and beautiful pumpkin in little parts.

D'abord, nous avons coupé la très belle et gigantesque citrouille en petits morceaux.

 

We steamed it during 20 minutes.

Nous l'avons fait cuire à l'étuvée pendant 20 minutes. 

Meanwhile we mixed the pie ingredients: evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, and some spices (cinnamon and ginger).

 Pendant ce temps, nous avons mixé les ingrédients: le lait condensé, le sucre, les œufs et quelques épices (cannelle et gingembre).

And at the end, we brought the steamed pie and we mixed it all to pour onto the pie case.

 Ensuite, nous avons mélanger et versé le tout dans le moule.

Then, we bake the pie during 20 minutes meanwhile we finished our little Indian masks.

Puis, nous avons fait cuire la tarte pendant 20 minutes et en attendant nous avons terminé nos masques indiens.
